Our Vision & Purpose
Our mission is simple but powerful
We believe that every student deserves the chance to find their voice, and we are working to remove the barriers that often stand in their way.
By championing the power and benefits of group singing, we aim to open up music and performance opportunities for young people who lack access to choirs and/or extracurricular music activities.
HYC members will
• Develop music & vocal skills, knowledge and ability
• Gain confidence
• Improve well-being

Come and try HYC!
LOVE TO SING? COME AND TRY HASTINGS YOUTH CHOIR! 🎶 If you or someone you know is aged 12–18 and enjoys singing, we’d love to invite you to a special Come & Try Rehearsal with Hastings Youth Choir! ✨
Led by Choir Director Sarah Morabito, HYC is a welcoming, supportive and fun environment where young people can build confidence, make friendships, and experience the joy of singing together.
Whether they’ve performed on stage before or simply love to sing along to their favourite songs, everyone is welcome to come along and give it a go.
📍 Wednesday, 20th May
📍 The Mac Adams Music Centre, Port Macquarie 🕟 4:30pm – 6:00pm
✅ No pre-registration required ✅ Just come along and join in ✅ Students are encouraged to bring a friend
Parents, friends, teachers, and family please help us spread the word, as many young people who would love this opportunity may not have social media themselves. We’d love to see some new faces and hear some new voices!
